Make your own ice cream at home with 3 ingredients! This delicious No-Churn Vanilla Stracciatella Ice Cream is flaked with chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 1 quart heavy whipping cream
  • 14 oz can sweet condensed milk
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • shaved dark chocolate, adjust amount to your liking
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Add heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to a mixing bowl and beat on medium-high until you get soft-medium peaks. This will take several minutes.
  2. Take a few squares of a high quality dark chocolate bar and use a large cheese grater to shave the chocolate into fine flakes. Or for small chips, use a large knife and cutting board to finely chop chocolate.
  3. Once whipping cream is ready, gently fold in sweet condensed milk and chocolate flakes using a rubber spatula. Try not to overmix.
  4. Line a medium sized baking dish with parchment paper. Pour ice cream mixture into the prepared dish and top with extra chocolate shavings. Leave in the freezer overnight or for at least 12 hours to set.
  5. Pull out ice cream five minutes before serving to rest for easier scooping.
