Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup pretzels (mini pretzels work great as well)
  • 1/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate-coated candies (like M&Ms)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugars. Next, add egg and vanilla and whisk to combine.
  2. Stir in the dry ingredients to form the cookie dough. Fold in chocolate chips, pretzels, oats and chocolate-coated candies.
  3. For best texture, refrigerate dough for at least 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  4. Use a cookie scoop or spoon to cookie dough balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Top each cookie dough ball with a few pretzel pieces and chocolate-coated candies.
  5. Bake cookies for about 12 minutes or until the edges are golden. Let cool before removing from the baking sheet. Store in an airtight container for 5 days.

Notes

If you want to use less sugar, you can decrease the white sugar to 1/4 cup.

You can substitute chopped chocolate bars for chocolate chips.

Makes 12-15 cookies depending on size.
