Hey Kim, thanks for sharing your feedback! This recipe is designed for an 8x8" pan. However, if you want a thinner crust layer or a more pie to crust ratio, you can definitely use a larger pan like you did! Great idea 🙂

I could see that the the crust layer was super thick before baking, so I switched it over to a 13x9 (still filled the bottom nicely) and proceeded that way and it worked out great -- there was no need to adjust the baking times.
