HOW TO FREEZE COOKIE DOUGH
- Make the cookie dough according to your recipe. Scoop the cookie dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- Flash-freeze the cookie dough balls on the tray for one hour or until solid before transferring them to an airtight container or freezer storage bag.
- Place the container or bag into the freezer and store for up to 2 months.
HOW TO BAKE COOKIES FROM FROZEN DOUGH
- Transfer frozen cookie dough balls to the refrigerator the day or night before baking to thaw fully. Alternatively, transfer the frozen dough to the fridge a few hours before baking to partially thaw.
- Bake fully thawed cookie dough according to your recipe. No changes are needed. Bake partially thawed cookie dough according to your recipe, possibly adding a few extra minutes of baking time if necessary.
