Hey there! I have not tried using milk, but it should still work nicely. The cookies may be a bit softer or brown more easily from the milk.

Thanks Ramya! Freshly baked cookies are always a sweet housewarming gift. A few thoughts on mailing these cookies:

- Depending on where you live and where these are being sent, I would be a bit mindful of chocolate melting in hotter climates in the summer months.
- This cookie recipe should stay soft and chewy for several days if properly stored in a sealed bag or airtight container. They should be good for a week at least. - If some time is lost during transport, your friend could also freeze some of the baked cookies and thaw later when ready to eat if it's a bulk batch.

One of them has been asking me to make some and send her. I would have to ship them to another city so I'm making her a big batch that she can store and eat.. What do you think their shelf life is and should she store the rest in a fridge and microwave for 10s before them eats them, etc? Thank you soo much for this !
